Here at Humans Outside we love buying stuff for going outside. Really, it’s Luke who loves the gear the most. Blame the Army for teaching him about cool guy outdoor stuff if you want, but his love is deep and there’s no cure.
We started Humans Outside as a place to talk about living as indoor people in an outdoor world. And we were pretty excited about it. But when Luke realized this project meant that he meant to buy even more gear? Well, he just couldn’t contain himself.
You’ll see us write about that gear on Humans Outside. We write about the stuff we love to use. We write about the gear we’ve tested. We write about stuff we buy with cash from our own pockets for our outdoorsy expeditions and lifestyle.
Don’t see a disclaimer on the post saying that it’s “sponsored” or that we were given a “product to review?” You can assume we are writing about it out of sheer love.
But man can’t live on love alone, so we will, sometimes, be paid for what we do. When that happens we will tell you right up front by saying something is “sponsored” or that we were given a product in exchange for our “review.” Sometimes we’ll include links that have an affiliate or referral code associated with them. We get paid when you visit those links, but we will never include a link for something just because are part of an affiliate program.
And, of course, we promise this: all the opinions and words on this blog represented as our own are, in fact, our own. If someone else writes content for us, we will tell you that, too.
